Privacy

Plain language for the service as it exists today.

What we look at

We use public Google listing data: the business name, address, rating, review count, and up to a handful of reviews Google already shows on the listing. We use this to see how a shop looks online and how it compares with other public listings nearby. We do not scrape Yelp.

What you give us

If you email us or work with us, we keep what you volunteer: your name, business name, email address, and notes about software you already use, such as Housecall Pro. We do not collect your customers’ names, phone numbers, or home addresses in order to contact them. We do not contact homeowners.

Email

We use email to answer you. If we are working together, we also use it to send notes about the public listing, such as a rating or count change, or a newly visible public review.

Where this lives

Honestfront runs on Google Cloud. Mail is handled with Google Workspace. The honestfront.com domain uses Cloudflare for DNS. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep customer and listing records while we are working together, and for a reasonable time afterward if we need a record of the work. If you want information deleted, email hello@honestfront.com. We will delete what we reasonably can, except what we have to keep for legal or security reasons.
